(WHTM) — June 10 is the one-year anniversary of when the first veteran was welcomed into a tiny home in Veteran’s Grove along South Front Street in Harrisburg. All part of Veterans Outreach of Pennsylvania (VOPA).

Joining us for this week’s Hot Topic Tuesday is Bill Reed, Chairman of the Board for VOPA and Angel McLaughlin, Clinical Director for VOPA

Bill give us an update of what’s happened over this past year.

“Since then we brought many veterans onboard, they’ve enjoyed the advantages of the tiny home and really the services that we are offering,” Reed said. “We reached out, connected to our community partners, and really begun providing those things that they weren’t getting at other places.”
