Louis Motley has over 15 years of leadership in the banking industry and currently serves as Vice President, Business Lending for Members 1st Federal Credit Union. In this role, he works with various business entities across a wide range of industries to help start, grow and improve their businesses through smart financing. With several years of experience in the banking industry, Louis takes pride in putting his knowledge of commercial lending to work to help business owners accomplish their goals and dreams. Prior to this role, Louis was Vice President, Business Development Officer with First National Bank Small Business Finance.

Louis is a graduate of Saint Francis University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Business Administration at Eastern University.

After graduating from Saint Francis Louis joined the U.S. Navy. Louis is extremely passionate working with American veterans with their financing needs. As a Navy Veteran himself, he has made it his mission to help vets as they become entrepreneurs. Louis has participated in business programs such as Boots to Business, where he offered valuable expertise as well as lending recommendations to those who have given their service to this great country.

Louis consistently seeks to give back to the community and was recognized for his leadership, industry expertise and knowledge in Central Pennsylvania’s Black Business Directory. He is a Board Member with the Dauphin County Affordable Housing Program and Sandi Shores, Inc., which helps individuals build, maintain and protect a solid financial foundation on financial education and home ownership. Louis is also partnering with a local law firm’s LEAP (Legal Equity Advancement Program) to support African American owned businesses with legal services.

Mr. Motley has equally sought to ensure future generations understanding of financial management through his participation in the STEAM program, which is designed to educate youth on how to effectively use science and math for developing budgets.
